In addition, the list does not include patents that are only renewed under § 156(e)(2) or § 156(d)(5) (only patents that have been temporarily renewed). A copy of the extended certificate should be included in the "correction" section of the patent image. All patent images can be found in the patent full text and image database.

More information about the expiration date of human drug patents can be obtained from the Food and Drug Administration, the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research. The patents and exclusivity appendices of "Approved Drug Products with Evaluation of Therapeutic Equivalence" and "Orange Book" include human drug products and related patent information in alphabetical order according to their generic names.
